Anti-discrimination policy

At lindemol, we are committed to providing job seekers with a fair employment opportunity regardless of age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, life, political or religious beliefs, race, ethnic origin or nationality. In recruitment and selection, we treat candidates equally and assess them solely on job-related criteria.

What do we mean by discrimination?

Discrimination means the conscious or unconscious exclusion or unequal treatment of people based on personal characteristics such as age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, life, political or religious beliefs, race, ethnicity or nationality.

Requests by clients to discriminate in recruitment and selection on the basis of non-relevant or non-necessary criteria are also considered discrimination by lindemol.

Our position on discrimination

lindemol rejects any form of discrimination. Requests by clients to make a distinction will only be honoured if there is an objective justification for doing so. We recruit and select only on the basis of job-related and legitimate criteria.

In addition, we do not accept discriminatory treatment of our employees – including those working under the direction and supervision of a hirer – by third parties.

Responsibility of employees

Our staff are informed and trained to recognise discriminatory requests and not to comply with them. They have a responsibility to be alert to such requests and ensure they are not complied with.

Approach to discriminatory requests

When a client makes a discriminatory request, the responsible manager, in consultation with management, draws up a tailor-made plan to discuss it. If necessary, this may result in the termination of cooperation with the client in question.

With this policy, we at lindemol emphasise our commitment to an inclusive and fair working culture where everyone is given equal opportunities.
